Rivian is hiring an Adventure Readiness Specialist in the Bay Area to support peak seasonal demand and vehicle readiness. You will help on the front lines to keep owners on their adventures, learn hands-on skills, and prepare for a future as a Service Technician.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred.
• Previous technical experience (e.g. automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work) is highly preferred.
• A strong desire to learn, adaptability, and a hands-on mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain the quality and delivery readiness of vehicles through washing, detailing, and charging.
• Manage vehicle logistics, including lot organization, shuttling, and key management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service center environment following 5S principles.
• Assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs, focusing on PDI tasks and Express Lane work.
• Learn to safely use basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Participate in TRAIL program and RLN modules for growth and career development.
• Provide cross‑functional support and pursue a pathway into a Service Technician role.
