Rivian seeks an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join the Service team during peak seasons, helping keep owners’ Rivians ready and on the move for their adventures.

This onsite role at 77 Dover Road Glen Burnie, Maryland 21060 offers hands-on learning and a clear pathway toward becoming a Service Technician through Rivian’s TRAIL program, with mentorship and job-specific training to support growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent credential.
• Experience in automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or a related technical field preferred.
• Willingness to learn and a strong hands-on mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• 21+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations and manuals.
• Comfort interacting with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Site Operations: Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, detailing, and charging for delivery readiness.
• Manage vehicle logistics, including lot organization, shuttling vehicles, and key management.
• Maintain a clean, safe service center environment following 5S principles.
• Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs and PDI tasks; learn to use basic tools.
• Training & Career Development: participate in TRAIL program, RLN modules, and mentorship toward Service Technician role.
• Provide cross-functional support to other areas as needed to ensure site success.
