Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent) to join our local store team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair devices, and assist customers in-person or by phone, leveraging your technical skills to deliver outstanding service.

You will follow established procedures, maintain thorough documentation, and stay current with certifications through ongoing training while working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products.
• Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repair devices, and assist customers both in-person and over the phone.
• Establish and maintain timely follow-up and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
• Document customer requests and repairs with the team.
• Ensure repair tasks are completed on time and escalate when needed.
• Maintain knowledge and certifications through training courses.
