Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent) to work at our Round Rock store, delivering technology support and repairs for customers’ devices. You’ll troubleshoot, follow procedures and provide an outstanding customer experience by listening to needs and partnering with other Agents.

You will diagnose and repair devices, maintain accurate documentation, and stay current with certifications through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products.
• Experience with consumer electronics and a passion for tech.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic discoveries, make recommendations, repair devices and help customers in-person and over the phone.
• Establish and maintain timely follow-up and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
• Maintain documentation of customer requests and repairs with team members.
• Ensure all repair tasks are completed promptly and escalate issues to leaders when needed.
• Pursue ongoing training to keep knowledge and certifications up-to-date.
