Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Performance Manager for our Advanced Surgery division. You will lead recruitment training and field coaching, driving adoption of selling skills and clinical knowledge on-site with doctors and nurses across multiple states.

You will develop and mentor sales talent, work with Area VP and training teams, and deliver education that accelerates performance. Expect significant travel and a leadership role in field-based education.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience.
• Experience with hospital-based selling in the OR, as well as experience coaching, training, or mentoring peers.
• At least 50% travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas, geographically spanning several states.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, or train small teams toward measurable performance gains.

Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the quota of new hires in area; leading small teams, building trust and influence across the field.
• Coaching and mentoring peers and sales representatives through direct supervision, 1:1 calls, field rides, field coaching reports, and quarterly business reviews.
• Building culture by mentoring new hires throughout their journey, providing supervision both remotely and in person, and teaching Commercial Selling Skills, Customer Knowledge, and Product Knowledge.
• Creating new educational content and experiences that accelerate development of skills for both tenured and new sales reps.
• Delivering training and coordinating in-person and virtual meetings with internal customer groups based on business needs.
• Shaping the future of the sales workforce by facilitating Baxter Advanced Surgery training across the employee lifecycle.
