Job summary

Hobart Food Equipment Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician III to provide on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment across diverse customer sites in Denver.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, HVACR troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics, with on-call and extended hours as needed. You will work with CFESA/NATE/Hobart standards and maintain safety and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4–7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2–4 years of HVACR service experience.
• EPA Certification desirable or required.
• Industry certification (CFESA/NATE/Hobart) preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and service mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration equipment on-site.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment on contract and/or time & material bases.
• Interpret and follow schematic diagrams and safety procedures.
• Lead advanced installs and support standard operating procedures.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and vehicle; promote quality customer experience and generate leads.
