Job summary

Hobart Food Equipment and Service is looking for a Service/Repair Technician 3 to deliver top-notch on-site support for commercial food equipment installations. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical skills and experience in food equipment service, ensuring customer satisfaction and equipment reliability.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, along with substantial field experience. The technician will be responsible for repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance, contributing to our top-tier service network.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years of HVACR service experience.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment.
• Accredited Certified Technician (CFESA / NATE / Hobart) and EPA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to customers for installation and service of commercial food equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration commercial food equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance on equipment.
