Job summary

Hobart Service in the United States seeks a Service/Repair Technician 3 to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment. You’ll install, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration systems, following diagrams and safety procedures.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with 4-7 years of equipment service or 2-4 years HVACR experience; certifications such as CFESA, NATE, or EPA are desirable. Expect travel and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4-7 years of food equipment service or 2-4 years HVACR service.
• Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE or EPA are desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret standard service manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains commercial food equipment and plans more advanced installs as needed.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration systems.
• Interpret and follow schematic diagrams and safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance and document activities.
• Travel to customer sites and manage on-site service efficiently.
