Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 3 to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial food equipment.

The role demands strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and HVACR knowledge with on-call, after-hours, and weekend support. Safety and customer service excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4-7 years food equipment service and/or 2-4 years HVACR service experience preferred.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• EPA Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration equipment and leads advanced installs as needed.
• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs equipment on contract or time & materials basis.
• Interprets schematic diagrams and understands sequences of operations for multiple modes.
• Performs preventative maintenance and documents activities.
• Supports safety programs and on-site customer service quality.
