Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II at Tiffin Hospital to deliver patient-centered respiratory care, including assessment, planning, and education. Responsibilities include monitoring therapy effectiveness and assisting with procedures.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy (or related field), NBRC credential, BLS, and 2 years of experience; ACLS and PALS are required, NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to Respiratory Therapy/Healthcare preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional (required).
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state they are working (required).
• NBRC credential, BLS for healthcare providers (required).
• ACLS, PALS required; NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention and education.
• Monitor patient response and adjust therapies as needed.
• Assist with procedures (e.g., bronchoscopy support, ventilator care).
• Serve as preceptor to new team members or students.
• Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.
