Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our urgent/primary care teams. You will care for patients within your training and scope, collaborating with physicians and staff to maintain efficient patient flow and high satisfaction.

We offer a flexible scheduling environment and a patient-centric approach across AFC’s clinics, with emphasis on acute illness and injury care, occupational medicine, and in-house diagnostics.

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
• Active PA/NP licensure in state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate
• Able to multi-task and work independently
• DOT Certification preferred
• Able to treat patients aged 2 years and up

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health histories and order labs, imaging, and diagnostics as appropriate
• Develop medical plans and referrals to facilities and resources
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization when needed
• Interpret data and provide patient care guidance to patients and families
• Other duties as assigned
