Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT Advanced) to provide advanced respiratory care per physician orders and clinical protocols. The role acts as a resource to CRT staff and supports department projects.

The NICU experience is required, and the position is PRN with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. BLS and ongoing credential maintenance are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program.
• Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
• RRT credential required.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care procedures per physician orders.
• Assess cardiopulmonary status and communicate care plan.
• Independently performs majority of procedures and participates in program initiatives.
• Mentor and represent Respiratory Care Services; support department projects.
