Job summary

Intermountain Health in Brighton, CO is seeking an RRT Advanced to provide advanced respiratory care under physician orders, supporting the CRT staff and leading clinical initiatives within the Respiratory Care Services. The role requires NICU experience and NBRC-registered credentials, BLS, and state license, with PRN shifts and pay differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC.
• Maintain an advanced credential as approved by leadership (e.g. AE-C, RPFT).
• Current State license to practice Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care procedures per physician orders and scope of practice.
• Assess cardiopulmonary status through exams and history review.
• Communicates care plan to physicians, patients, families, and staff.
• Mentor staff and support department projects and protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
