Job summary

AWP Safety in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Advanced MOT Supervisor to oversee temporary traffic control plans and ensure safe work zones. You will coordinate MOT personnel, protectors/flaggers, and drive to sites as needed, maintaining professional communication with customers.

The role requires an active Advanced MOT Certificate, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years of traffic control experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced MOT Certificate is required.
• Valid drivers license is required.
• 2+ years of traffic control experience is required.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Open availability including weekends/holidays may be required.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screening (safety sensitive).

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain channelizing devices and traffic control equipment per guidelines.
• Coordinate and communicate work activity for MOT personnel and drivers.
• Coordinate with customers to meet expectations while maintaining professionalism.
• Transport equipment and team members to/from sites in a timely manner.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure MOT training completion.
• Complete project documentation (safety briefings, logs, inspections).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
