Job summary

AWP Safety seeks an experienced MOT Supervisor to lead traffic control operations across South Florida from a Pembroke Pines home office. You will supervise crews, ensure MOT plans are followed, coordinate with drivers, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires FDOT Advanced MOT or ATSSA certification, regular travel, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising traffic control or MOT operations.
• FDOT Advanced MOT Certification or ATSSA certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage crews and adapt to changing conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MOT crews and ensure proper use of PPE and safety practices.
• Load tools, materials, and equipment for tasks.
• Meet with project contact to verify task details before operations.
• Coordinate trucking with drivers and supervise crews to complete tasks.
• Oversee traffic control setup/removal, including signs, cones, barricades, and flagging.
• Maintain a clean, organized site and adapt strategies to conditions.
• Transport equipment and signs using company vehicles.
• Complete DHA forms, Daily Logs, Truck Inspections, Tickets daily.
