Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking an Advanced MOT Supervisor to support on-site MOT operations, coordinating with the Facility Manager and project teams to ensure safe, compliant work zones and effective communication with customers.

Responsibilities include setting up channelizing devices, guiding flaggers and drivers, transporting equipment by company vehicles, and completing pre-job safety briefings and logs. A valid Advanced MOT Certificate and 2+ years in traffic control are required along with a

Qualifications

• Advanced MOT Certificate.
• Valid driver's license.
• 2+ years of traffic control experience.
• Commercial driving experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Open availability that may include various start/end times, some weekends and some holidays.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain channelizing devices and traffic control equipment per guidelines for complex work zones.
• Coordinate and communicate on-site MOT activity including flaggers, TMA drivers, and pilot car operators.
• Coordinate with customers to meet expectations while maintaining professionalism.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment, trailers, and team members to sites.
• Follow all safety procedures and notify supervisor of potential issues or incidents.
• Provide on-the-job training and obtain MOT-required training within the Facility Manager's timeframe.
• Complete required project documentation (PJSB, logs, inspections).
• Other duties as assigned.
