Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced MOT Lead to supervise traffic control setup and maintenance on active projects in a fast-paced construction environment. You will coordinate with project managers, ensure compliance with MUTCD and FDOT standards, and lead the MOT team while maintaining rigorous safety practices.

This role may require day and night shifts to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a MOT supervisor.
• MOT advanced certification.
• Knowledge of FDOT and MUTCD standards.
• Able to follow verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety policies and report incidents to uphold Safety as a core value.
• Supervise a safe work environment per Middlesex Safety Policies.
• Lead daily huddles and toolbox talks for safety.
• Develop and implement MOT plans with project managers.
• Set up and dismantle traffic control devices (cones, barricades, signage, lane closures).
• Identify hazards and ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
• Supervise MOT team members and ensure compliance with standards.
