Job summary

Acme Barricades in Orlando, FL is seeking a Maintenance of Traffic laborer to perform temporary traffic control on roadway construction projects, ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow within the work zone. Requires 2+ years MOT experience, a high school diploma or GED, and Advanced MOT certification preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic / Temporary Traffic Control or related industry.
High School Diploma/GED and ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
Advanced MOT Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

Set-up and maintain traffic control devices, installation and service work-zone signs, and lights.
Set up and maintain assigned MOT activity including detours and lane closures.
Coordinate services with the on-site client representative or officials.
Load and unload equipment into and out of company trucks.
Deliver / Pick-up equipment from customer jobsites.
Coordinate activities of traffic control laborers to ensure compliance with MOT guidelines.
Make recommendations on existing conditions to coordinate procedures for traffic maintenance activities.
Complete daily paperwork and reports as required by supervisor.
If approved driver, may operate a company vehicle and maintain company standards with Motor Vehicle Record.
Perform all other duties as assigned
