Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform prescribed maintenance tasks, learn and apply new skills, and support plant reliability. You will work from work orders, emphasize safety, and contribute to continuous improvement while training fellow technicians.

The role requires a high school education and 2–4 years in manufacturing maintenance, with welding and HACCP knowledge preferred. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively use computer applications.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with problem solving.
• Proficiency in predictive and preventative maintenance, electrical systems, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Knowledge of food safety requirements and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks per work orders assigned.
• Understand how to work safely and speak up when you do not.
• Continue to learn new skills and grow in your maintenance expertise.
• Train other Maintenance and Reliability Technicians.

Education
