Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support production expansion at our Mount Pocono, PA facility. You will perform preventive and on-demand maintenance across plant systems, prioritize tasks, and work with safety, GMP/HACCP, and regulatory standards in mind.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics, and familiarity with plant automation. Occasional welding and teamwork are involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work shifts and maintain good attendance.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical systems with operations.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with plant automation systems (PLCs, VFDs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and on-demand maintenance on all plant systems during assigned shift.
• Work safely and professionally with safety as the top priority.
• Comply with GMP, HACCP and regulatory mandates.
• Ensure documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
• Be familiar with equipment and operations within the entire facility.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties related to work areas.
• Troubleshoot problems and correct them in a timely and economical manner.
• Remain on 24-hour standby for emergency maintenance calls as scheduled.
• Prioritize maintenance issues and address them efficiently.
