Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of related technical training and one year on the job experience, or three years in the machinemaintenance field.
• Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics; knowledge of safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and building per scheduled preventive maintenance work orders.
• Repair equipment, including General repair 'M' and Emergency 'X' as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics to identify repair problems.
• Fabricate equipment and perform welding, cutting, and drilling as required.
• Submit timely progress reports on maintenance projects and update involved personnel.
• Enter time and components on maintenance work orders with accuracy.
• Use continuous process improvements to enhance maintenance procedures.
• Replace machine parts during repair projects.
