Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support production expansion and perform maintenance across plant systems, including PLCs and electrical/mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document activities while maintaining GMP/HACCP compliance and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and adhere to safety rules.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and interpret schematics.
• Good attendance and reliability; self-motivated.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical systems with team or external resources.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) and basic computer tools.
• Experience with plant automation and electrical/mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and on-demand maintenance on plant systems during shift.
• Work safely with safety as top priority and comply with GMP/HACCP standards.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed and filed.
• Familiarize with equipment and operations across the facility.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation related to work areas.
• Troubleshoot problems and rectify efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Remain on 24-hour standby for emergency maintenance calls.
• Prioritize maintenance issues and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize asset performance.
