Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production expansion at the Mount Pocono facility. The role covers preventive and on-demand maintenance of plant systems, with emphasis on safety, GMP/HACCP compliance, and timely documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to read schematics. Experience with PLCs, VFDs, electrical systems, and welding is a plus. Shift work and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings/schematics.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Ability to work shifts and maintain good attendance.
Willing to work in a plant environment with safety as priority.

Responsibilities

Provide preventative and on-demand maintenance on all plant systems during assigned shift.
Work in a safe and professional manner with SAFETY always being the top priority.
Comply with GMP, HACCP and Regulatory mandates.
Ensure all proper documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
Be familiar with equipment and operations within the entire facility.
Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties as related to work areas.
Troubleshoot problems and correct them in a timely and economical manner.
Remain on 24-hour standby for emergency maintenance calls as scheduled.
