Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Maryland is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to elevate our property services and deliver exceptional living experiences for residents. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, safety systems, and general infrastructure across our community to keep units rent-ready and operations smooth.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to participate in an on-call schedule in rotation with the team.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members for customer service.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance policies and safety procedures including SDS and PPE requirements.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry and safety systems.
• Completes assigned service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Performs preventative maintenance across the community.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture by following Vivmark policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
