Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to elevate our property maintenance and resident experience in San Diego, CA. The role emphasizes diagnosing and repairing a range of systems to keep apartments in top condition.

The technician will handle preventative maintenance, assist with painting, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering excellent customer service to residents and team members.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to rotate on-call schedule.
• Strong communication with residents and team members.
• Ability to read policies including safety and turnover policies.
• Familiarity with SDS, cleaning chemicals and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry and other systems.
• Complete service requests promptly and to standards.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner; perform turnkey work as needed.
• Conduct apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assist in interior and exterior painting tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment following safety policies and procedures.
• Perform hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per company standards.
