Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation within outpatient therapy. The role emphasizes evaluation, custom splinting, and collaborative care planning with surgeons and therapists.

Responsibilities include supervising OTAs, designing orthoses, and supporting post-surgical and injury rehabilitation. Experience in orthopedic rehab and staff education is valued, with opportunities for mentoring and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in OT or PT; advanced degree preferred
• CHT credential is required for the role
• Current state PT or OT license and CPR/BLS are required

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish care plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder conditions
• Document delivery of therapy services
• Direct OTAs, students and support personnel
• Design, fit and educate on custom orthoses and splints
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehab including scar management and edema control
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians and other therapists
