Job summary

Republic Services in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks, including chassis components, refuse bodies, control, hydraulic and electrical systems, air brakes, engines, HVAC, and suspension and drive trains; you’ll work on a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment to support our drivers on their routes.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• 5-7 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Inspect and repair heavy truck systems without supervision where needed.
• CDL/EIR license is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced repair and maintenance on chassis, hydraulics, brakes, engines, and electrical systems both on-site and on the road.
• Repair refuse bodies and air/hydraulic braking systems.
• Diagnose HVAC, aftertreatment and drive-train issues; use diagnostic tools.
• Identify malfunction sources and complete required company training programs.
• Support safe operation and service for drivers and communities.
