Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a 3-month contract in North Clarendon, VT 05759. You will join a team delivering on-site IT support for a manufacturing/engineering environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PC hardware/software support, strong customer service, and experience with Office 365, Windows 10, imaging, and ticketing systems. On-site, fast-paced, collaborative, with opportunities to troubleshoot and improve end-user experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience supporting PC hardware and software.
• Basic network troubleshooting and ability to assist enterprise IT issues.
• Excellent customer skills and experience.
• Experience with Office 365, Windows 10 Pro, imaging, and ticketing systems.
• Experience supporting applications for engineering, manufacturing, and logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use visual task board and Service-now to track work.
• Repair, test, image and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot software and peripherals.
• Manage assets during IMAC events for printer migration and PC refreshes.
• Ensure tickets receive follow-up and proper attention.
• Assist with server installations, configurations, upgrades, maintenance.
• Perform backup, recovery, and security procedures.
• Provide on-site end-user support and face-to-face interactions.
• Aid in diagnosing network hardware and performance problems.
• Assist in network installation and maintenance as needed.
