Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Technician II for North Clarendon, VT. This 3-month contract position (temp to perm) requires hands-on support of PC hardware/software, imaging, and end-user assistance onsite at the customer location.

The role emphasizes fast-paced, client-facing service, enterprise IT surroundings, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with strong teamwork and reliability. Two shifts are available with no on-call or shift differentials noted.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience supporting PC hardware and software.
• Basic network troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in an engineering/manufacturing enterprise environment is a plus.
• Ability to work with end users and provide hands-on support at the customer site.

Responsibilities

• Repair, test, image and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other hardware.
• Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and peripherals.
• Assist with server hardware installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Perform backup, recovery and security procedures as required.
• Assist with diagnoses of network hardware and performance problems.
• Provide in-person technical support at the customer site.
