Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to program, set up, and run advanced multi-axis machines for BE-7 engine components. You will craft jobs from scratch in NX Cam, then machine precise parts to tight tolerances.

This role supports the Combustion Devices Machinery value stream and requires capability to work the B shift (Mon-Thurs, 3:00pm-1:30am) in a safety‑driven, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years related CNC experience.
• 3+ years with multi-axis machines.
• 5+ years CNC Cam programming experience.
• CNC programming skills, NX 10 thru 2306 or MasterCam preferred.
• Excellent blue print reading skills including GD&T ASME Y14.5M-1994.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate and maintain CNC machines to fabricate components.
• Develop unique engine component jobs from scratch in NX Cam.
• Machine parts on complex multi-axis machines with high tolerance.
• Support Combustion Devices Machinery value stream for BE-7 engines.
