Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a CNC Machining and CAM Automation Engineer to advance automation across CNC programming, postprocessor development, and CAM integrations. You will collaborate with engineers to deploy scalable solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency on manufacturing floor.

You will apply Python and TypeScript to automate workflows, develop machine code simulations, and support NX CAM and Teamcenter environments across multiple Blue Origin facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field is preferred.
• Experience with CAM systems and CNC programming demonstrated.
• Software development and/or CNC postprocessor/CAM customization experience required.
• Strong understanding of CNC controls (Sinumerik, Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Okuma) and G-code macros.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for automation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and support software solutions to automate CNC programming and machining workflows.
• Advance CNC automation, postprocessor development, and CAM software customization.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to scale machining automation and integration with CAD/CAM/PLM systems.
