Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to program, setup, operate, and maintain world-class CNC machines for BE-7 engine components. You will write NX Cam programs, fabricate high-tolerance parts, and support multi-axis operations across facilities.

The role requires handling complex tooling, reading blueprints with GD&T, and providing feedback to manufacturing design. Shift: B shift; package includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years related CNC experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with multi axis machines.
• 5+ years' experience with CNC Cam programming (NX Mastercam).
• Experience with Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, Hermle, G+F and/or Okuma CNC machines.
• Working knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, OSP or equivalent).
• Excellent blue print reading including GD&T ASME Y14.5M-1994.
• Ability to provide Design for Manufacturing feedback.
• Must be physically able to climb, lift 25 lbs, work in small areas.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup, operate and maintain CNC machines to fabricate components.
• Program engine component jobs from scratch in NX Cam.
• Machine parts on complex multi-axis machines.
• Ensure first article success on tight tolerance, high-value parts.
• Support Combustion Devices Machinery value stream for BE-7 engines.
