Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library is seeking a Library Customer Specialist at the Walnut Hills Branch. The role centers on direct customer service, supporting adult programming and services, and serving as a person in charge when needed.

You will circulate materials, assist patrons with technology, and help with program planning and branch operations. Evening and weekend hours are required, with a focus on DEI and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Circulates materials, checks in/out, processes holds, and collects fees.
• Answers general questions in person, by phone, or email.
• Assists patrons with technology and readers’ advisory.
• Performs office management tasks and coordinates branch duties.
• Leads adult programming and coordinates book clubs.
• Produces and analyzes branch statistics.
