Job Overview

Ebenezer is seeking an Adult Day Program Assistant to join our team in Bloomington, MN. This role encourages socialization, assists in planning and implementing active programming for senior day care participants, and supports personal care duties. Responsibilities include ongoing charting and case management. The position offers casual hours, primarily Monday-Friday daytime shifts, with flexibility for preplanned absences and last-minute support.

Position Details

• Casual/On-Call
• No weekends
• Day shift

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and clean up daily activities such as crafts, games, music, etc.
• Provide snacks and noon meals, including setup and cleanup
• Plan menus and order supplies
• Perform routine personal care and grooming, including baths
• Assist with developing monthly calendars
• Support participants with toileting, mobility, and health monitoring
• Communicate needs and care plans with staff and families
• Maintain monthly charts, care plans, and health updates
• Ensure a clean, safe environment with adequate supplies

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license in good standing
• 0-1 year of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical training or an Associate Degree
• 1-3 years of experience
• Experience with Windows/Microsoft
