Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Excelsior Springs is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing leadership team. The ADON collaborates with the Director of Nursing to provide clinical leadership, support operations, and ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.

This RN role oversees Infection Prevention and Wound Care programs, leads staff development, ensures regulatory compliance, and participates in quality improvement projects to elevate resident

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BSN preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing with leadership experience.
• Infection prevention, wound care, and regulatory familiarity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervise nursing staff.
• Support DON with recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Lead infection prevention and wound care programs and reporting.
• Oversee care plans, rounds, and resident condition monitoring.
• Participate in QAPI activities and regulatory readiness.
• Coach and develop nursing professionals and promote teamwork.
