Aspire Senior Living in Joplin, MO, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The ADON partners with the Director of Nursing to drive clinical leadership, staff development, regulatory compliance, and exceptional resident care.

We seek an RN with strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a passion for improving outcomes. The ADON will guide nursing operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice required.
• BSN preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, long-term care/ senior living preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership or ADON experience preferred.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and quality-improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction with the DON to nursing staff.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, schedule, and supervise nursing personnel.
• Mentor nurses and nursing assistants and support professional development.
• Participate in performance evaluations and corrective actions as needed.
• Serve as clinical resource and visible nursing leader in the community.
• Ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
• Lead QAPI activities and clinical audits, with root-cause analyses as needed.
• Prepare for regulatory surveys and fix identified compliance gaps.
• Deliver education and coaching to nursing staff; support ongoing competencies.
