Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our skilled nursing neighborhood. You will develop, implement, and evaluate orientation programs, in-service/clinical education, and training for all nursing personnel.

You will oversee the infection prevention program, ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, and assist the Director of Nursing with management and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Current State RN license.
• Minimum of five years’ clinical experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Experience with in-service education.
• Clinical supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate new hire orientation programs for nursing staff.
• Create and deliver educational in-service/clinical programs for all nursing personnel.
• Train and support nursing staff across shifts and units.
• Oversee infection prevention program and ensure compliance with regulations; assist DON with admin duties.
