Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Kentucky's Northern region is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This role leads orientation, in-service/clinical programs, and nursing staff training to uphold high standards of care.

The ADON oversees the infection control program as infection preventionist to meet federal/state regs and assists the DON with management and administrative duties. The organization offers strong benefits, professional development, and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current State RN license.
• Minimum of five years' clinical experience; preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Experience with in-service education.
• Clinical supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate new hire orientation programs, educational in-service/clinical programs, and training for all nursing personnel.
• Oversee the infection control program as infection preventionist to comply with Federal and State regulations, and provide training to nursing staff.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) with management and administrative functions.
