Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a premier nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Connecticut. You will report to the Director of Nursing and help plan, organize, and direct day-to-day clinical and administrative operations while leading charge nurses and supervisors.

You will drive QAPI initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and support residents to achieve their highest well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in Connecticut required; CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years nursing supervisory/leadership in skilled settings.
• Experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing day-to-day nursing operations in compliance with standards.
• Provide leadership to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors; train and delegate responsibilities.
• Conduct daily clinical rounds, monitor care delivery, meds, and infection prevention.
• Lead resident assessments and develop written, person-centered care plans.
• Assist staffing, scheduling, and posting daily staffing information.
• Support recruitment, licensing verification, and performance evaluations.
