Position Overview

This position is responsible for clinical supervision in the nursing department to ensure high standards of care are delivered according to policies, procedures, and regulations. Supports the Director of Nursing and assumes their functions in their absence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise clinical operations in the nursing department to maintain high standards of care.
  2. Support and stand in for the Director of Nursing as needed.
  3. Assist nurse managers with decisions regarding nursing care.
  4. Serve as Infection Control Practitioner, QA, and restorative lead.
  5. Coordinate educational programs for the nursing staff.
  6. Participate in Medicare and insurance assessments, including documentation and evaluation.
  7. Monitor MDS schedules and therapy minutes for billing purposes.
  8. Oversee staff hiring, evaluations, and discipline.
Candidate Qualifications
  1. RN nursing degree required; Illinois license in good standing.
  2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  3. Minimum two years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  4. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proficiency in computer and technology use.
Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $86,300 - $109,600. Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, and location.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance; paid time off and holidays; 403(b) with employer match; fitness center access; and voluntary benefits such as life insurance, tuition assistance, legal services, and pet insurance.
