This position oversees clinical supervision within the nursing department to ensure high standards of care are maintained in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations. The role supports the Director of Nursing and assumes their responsibilities in their absence.

In This Role, The Assistant Director Of Nursing Will:
  • Take responsibility for clinical supervision in the nursing department to ensure high standards of care are delivered in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Support the Director of Nursing and assume their functions in their absence.
  • Assist nurse managers with decisions regarding nursing care.
  • Function as Infection Control Practitioner, QA, and restorative lead of the facility.
  • Coordinate educational offerings for the nursing department.
  • Participate in Medicare and insurance assessments, completing worksheets and evaluating conditions and coverage ability.
  • Monitor and track MDS schedules and therapy minutes for billing.
  • Participate in staff oversight, including interviewing, hiring, evaluations, and discipline.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • An RN nursing degree licensed in the state.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (preferred).
  • At least two years of leadership experience in an acute, sub-acute, or long-term care setting.
  • Current, in-good-standing RN license in Illinois.
  • Strong time management, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem assessment, planning, and evaluation skills.
  • Computer and technological literacy.
Compensation Pay Range:

$88,000 - $95,000
