Job summary

Delaware Technical Community College seeks a Student Affairs Specialist to ensure student success by handling daily functions within Student Affairs, including Admissions, Registration, and College Placement Testing (CPT).

The incumbent processes admission applications and registrations, maintains accurate student records, and prepares reports for multiple divisions. They may supervise work-study staff and collaborate with the Business Office to support student services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Four (4) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and additional education.

Responsibilities

• Processes admission applications, registration forms and collateral documents.
• Develops and maintains student records in compliance with FERPA and other regulations.
• Prepares reports for tracking, recruitment, enrollment, and services to students.
• Schedules, administers, and scores the College Placement Test (CPT).
• Generates reports from placement data to assist with scheduling and resource allocation.
• Responds to inquiries and provides admission and policy information to students, staff, and the public.
• Receives and processes transcripts.
• Oversees special admissions programs for health, allied health, and international students.
• Assists in budget preparation and communications with stakeholders.
• Supervises work-study students or support staff as assigned.
• Performs other related duties as required.
