Job summary

Delaware Technical Community College seeks a part-time Academic Support Assistant to support testing center services and operations at the Stanton Campus. The role includes assisting instructors, organizing tutoring and testing services, and facilitating smooth lab and academic center functions.

An incumbent may supervise work-study students and will manage setup, materials, and equipment, while coordinating schedules and maintaining confidentiality of testing materials and records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with two years of related experience preferred.
• Experience supporting testing centers or tutoring services is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up laboratories and prepare necessary materials and equipment.
• Assist instructors during sessions and administer tests and makeup tests.
• Coordinate tutoring and testing schedules for the academic center.
• Support student check-in/out and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
