Centura College in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Admissions Representative to connect with prospective students, explain programs, and guide them through the enrollment process.

You will manage high-volume calls, emails, and in-person meetings, document interactions in the CRM, meet performance goals, and collaborate with campus teams; rotating Saturdays are required. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in sales, admissions, customer service, or related field with success meeting performance goals.
• One or more years of admissions experience in a postsecondary educational environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of outreach activity while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn CRM and student information systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students through high-volume inbound and outbound calls, emails, and in-person or virtual meetings.
• Conduct admissions interviews to understand students' career goals, interests, and educational needs.
• Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process, including applications, required documentation, and next steps.
• Achieve established performance goals related to outreach activity, appointment setting, conversion rates, and student enrollment.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective students to answer questions, address concerns, and support enrollment decisions.
• Accurately document student interactions, application progress, and enrollment activity in the CRM or student management system.
• Collaborate with campus leadership and other departments to provide a positive prospective student experience.
• Represent Centura College professionally at campus events, open houses, and community outreach activities.

Location: Centura College | 7020 N Military Hwy, Norfolk, VA 23518
Compensation: Up to $30/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule:

• Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, with corresponding time off during the week
