Qualifications

• 2 years experience in healthcare admissions/call center setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Empathetic and compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport quickly.
• Knowledge of behavioral health admissions processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions process to achieve targeted census.
• Assist with prioritization of pre-admission assessment.
• Handle incoming calls from individuals seeking information about programs.
• Conduct initial assessments to determine eligibility for admission.
• Provide accurate information about programs, services, and admissions process.
• Build rapport and establish trust with potential patients.
• Discuss health insurance benefits and financial requirements.
• Provide reassurance and intervention to individuals/families in crisis.
• Guide potential patients through admissions using strong interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth transition for admitted patients.
• Coordinate admissions from existing referral sources.
• Coordinate travel for qualified patients.
• Maintain electronic records in Salesforce CRM.
