Coral Shores Behavioral Health in Stuart, Florida, is seeking an Admissions Counselor to perform telephonic and in-person risk assessments, support physicians in determining appropriate care levels, and guide referrals through the admission process.

You will be the initial contact for referrals and patients, coordinating intake, communicating with families and staff, and handling insurance benefit verification or prior authorizations as required.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of experience in a behavioral health setting

Mansioni

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessments to assist physicians in identifying the appropriate level of care for potential patients.
• Serve as the initial contact with referral sources and potential patients; coordinate the referral and intake process.
• Facilitate the admission process and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
• Verify and obtain prior authorization of insurance benefits as needed.

Formazione

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Human Services field

Florida RN license (valid)

BLS certification
