Job summary

Centerville Health and Rehab seeks an Admissions and Marketing Manager to drive census and occupancy growth through an effective external sales strategy and strong referral partnerships.

The role ensures compliance with state and federal standards while managing relationships with hospitals, physicians, home health agencies and other referral sources. A bachelor’s degree is preferred or a nursing license, with a valid driver’s license and 3+ years in census development in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or an unencumbered nursing license in the state.
• Valid driver’s license in the state.
• Minimum three years of census development and occupancy management experience in a nursing home or related health care facility.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, plus laws and guidelines for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and executes an external sales strategy to reach census goals while complying with laws and regulations.
• Builds and maintains relationships with referral sources (hospitals, physicians, senior centers, home health agencies, hospices, etc.).
• Provides information to clearly communicate the facility’s services and offerings.
• Identifies opportunities for new referral partners and submits a monthly activity calendar showing census strategy execution.
• Documents weekly calendar results and supports implementation of the census plan.
• Develops strategies to convert referrals into admissions.
• Schedules and reports on routine events with partners and sources.
• Maintains geographic territory coverage and pursues additional partnerships.
• Communicates strategy results with Administrator weekly and monthly.
• Maintains up-to-date lists of referral partners and assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
