Job summary

Pavilion Management Company is seeking an Admissions and Marketing Director for The Pavilion at Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role focuses on developing a proactive external sales plan to improve census and occupancy while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (or nursing license), a valid Florida driver’s license, and at least 3 years in census development within a nursing facility or similar setting, with strong referral partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or an unencumbered nursing license in the state.
• Valid driver’s license in the state.
• Minimum of three (3) years of census development and occupancy management experience in a nursing home or other health care facility.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and implements an external sales strategy to achieve census goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Builds and maintains relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, senior centers, home health agencies, hospice, etc.
• Provides information to clearly share the facility’s services and offerings.
• Develops partnerships with new referral sources and communicates census strategy through monthly calendars and activity plans.
• Documents weekly calendar execution and reports results to the Administrator.
• Converts referrals into admissions by executing effective sales strategies.
• Coordinates routine events with referral partners and tracks outcomes for census management.
• Identifies new partnerships and ensures alignment with geographic territory and organizational goals.
