Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an unencumbered nursing license in the state.
• Valid driver’s license in the state.
• Minimum 3 years of census development and occupancy management experience in a nursing home or related facility.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, and laws/regulations pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, and implements an external sales strategy to achieve census goals while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
• Builds and maintains relationships with referral sources (hospitals, physicians, senior centers, home health agencies, hospice, etc.).
• Provides clear information to share the facility's services and offerings.
• Identifies opportunities with new referral partners and develops sales strategies to convert referrals to admissions.
• Schedules events and reports results to the Administrator. Maintains ongoing territory and partnerships.
