Healthcare sales/marketing experience is preferred, with a minimum of two years in long-term care. The role focuses on building referral relationships, coordinating referrals, and driving census and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources to promote skilled services.
• Coordinate the referral process from payer source identification to patient information analysis.
• Achieve the proposed census and revenue objectives for the company.
• Collaborate with patients, physicians, residents, and staff to ensure seamless transfers to the facility.
• Communicate information effectively to physicians, supervisors, facility administrators, and other personnel in a timely manner.
• Analyze patient needs and match with facility services for appropriate placement.
• Complete on-site visits to reviewing facilities to assess patient needs and obtain clinical information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications for Admissions Director:

• Prior sales and marketing experience in the healthcare industry preferred
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) qualifications optional
• Minimum of two (2) year experience in long-term care
• Proven ability to successfully market the services of the organization.

Responsibilities of Admissions Director:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources to promote skilled services
• Coordinate the referral process from the identification of the appropriate payer source to the analysis of patient information
• Responsible for achieving the proposed company census and revenue objectives
• Collaborate with patient or representative, physicians, residents, nursing staff members, rehabilitation therapy staff members, and social work staff members to ensure seamless transfer to the facility
• Communicates information effectively to physicians, supervisors, facility administrators, and any other pertinent personnel in a timely manner
• Analyze patient needs and match with facility services to plan for an appropriate facility placement
• Complete an on-site visit to the referring facility to review the physician orders, assess the patient’s clinical needs, and obtain clinical information
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
